All abstractors and land surveyors need to call and make an appointment
with our office prior to coming in to search records.

Marriage License Applications:

Marriage License applications will be available for Washington Parish residents only and by appointment only from 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. $32.50 Marriage License fee.
Please bring exact change if you are paying with cash.

Birth and Death Records:

Birth & Death Records can be obtained by Washington Parish residents only and by appointment only
from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday.
$34 Birth Certificate fee. $26 Death Certificate fee.

Office Closure
Due to Weather

The Washington Parish Courthouse will be closed Wednesday, September 11, 2024 and September 12, 2024 due to weather conditions associated with Hurricane Francine. The Courthouse will reopen on Friday, September 13, 2024. For futher details please
