Marriage License applications will be available for Washington Parish residents only and by appointment only from 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. $32.50 Marriage License fee.

Birth and Death Records:

Birth & Death Records can be obtained by Washington Parish residents only and by appointment only
from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday.
$34 Birth Certificate fee. $26 Death Certificate fee.

Qualifying dates for the May 16th Election

Qualifying for the May 16th election will be February 11, 2026 – February 13, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Qualifying will be at the Clerk of Courts Office in the Washington Parish Courthouse.

Office Closure
February 16th for President’s Day

Our office will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2025, in observance of President’s Day. Our office will reopen on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Have a happy holiday from the Washington Parish Clerk of Courts Office and Clerk of Court Johnny Crain, Jr.
